Allergy Relief Ideas?

This is my first year having to deal with allergies but they have been killing me recently. Is there anyone out there who has found a cheap way to bear their seasonal allergies?

Please let us know what you do for them in the comments below.

  1. I've had good luck with generic Zyrtec from Costco (you can buy it on Amazon as well).

My allergies are really bad when the trees start getting their first leaves so I'll have extremely itchy eyes or an itchy throat. When this happens I'll take some eye drops or nasal spray specifically for allergies. I forget the specific names right now but they're all over the counter and can be found at any pharmacy/grocery store.
    Good luck!

    1. Thanks for the ideas. The Costco pharmacy usually has pretty good deals and is actually the only reason that we ever go to Costco, and it's great that you can use their pharmacy without having to have a membership.

  2. If you would like to go the non-medicinal route you can try consuming some locally produced honey. (I think) The bees inject the pollen from the local plants and then when they make the honey traces of that pollen is left behind. You get the honey and are exposed to that pollen and that should help. I know its a far out remedy but worth a shot if you like Honey!
